Sacred Start
A ritual for honouring beginnings
A recording of a live workshop for women craving softer starts, deeper meaning, and a new relationship with time.
The start of your day matters, yes.
But so does the start of a year.
The start of a season.
The start of a new chapter you can feel stirring, even if you can’t name it yet.
Sacred Start is the replay of a live workshop devoted to how we begin.
Not with force.
Not with optimization.
Not by pushing yourself to be better, to rise earlier, or to be more disciplined.
But with presence.
With intention.
With soft ritual and remembering.
How we begin matters…
If beginnings feel heavy, rushed, or overwhelming…
Many of us wake up already behind.
Already bracing for the day.
Already negotiating with exhaustion.
We’re told that a “better” morning routine will fix this.
Wake up earlier. Do more. Follow the formula.
And when it doesn’t stick, we quietly assume the problem is us.
Sacred Start offers a different way.
This is not a morning routine workshop
Sacred Start is not about creating the perfect morning.
It is about changing your relationship with beginnings.
The beginning of your day becomes the teaching ground, but what you are really learning is how to meet thresholds in your life with more care, agency, and trust.
This workshop is for women who are feeling overwhelmed and exhausted and for those who feel a quiet longing for ritual, meaning, and re-enchantment.
You don’t have to choose between practicality and magic here.
You get both.
This workshop is for you if…
You want your days to begin with more ease and intention
You feel tired of forcing yourself to “do mornings better”
You are craving ritual, meaning, or re-enchantment in small, accessible ways
You want something flexible and supportive, not prescriptive
You are ready to listen to your body a little more closely
You do not need a spiritual background.
You do not need a perfect routine.
You do not need to be a morning person.
Just curiosity and willingness.
What you’ll walk away with
By the end of the Sacred Start Workshop, you will:
Understand why beginnings can feel so hard in a culture that rushes past them
Experience what it feels like to begin from the body rather than the mind
Learn how ritual can create spaciousness instead of taking more time
Craft a sacred start practice that fits your real life, energy, and responsibilities
Trust in yourself to adapt your practice without guilt when life changes
Feel more grounded, resourced, and oriented as your day/season/new chapter begins
This is not about discipline or perfection.
It is about creating a way of beginning that you can return to again and again, even after disruption, travel, illness, or a hard season.
Why beginnings matter
We live in a culture that treats beginnings as something to power through.
New year, new you.
Start strong or fall behind.
But in many ancient traditions, including Celtic ones, beginnings emerged from darkness.
The day began at dusk.
The year turned in winter.
Rest came first.
Beginnings were intentional, relational, and rooted.
Sacred Start is a remembering of this wisdom, translated gently into modern life.
Ritual as support, not another task to accomplish
Ritual is not something extra for people with more time.
Ritual is how humans have always marked thresholds and created meaning.
During the workshop, you’ll be guided through reflection, journaling, and a gentle guided journey to meet an animal ally to walk with you through the season or year ahead.
This ally becomes:
A source of support beyond willpower
A reminder that you are not meant to do this alone
A living symbol you can weave into your sacred start
This is about anchoring your practice in relationship rather than rigid habit.
An invitation
Beginnings are sacred.
How you begin shapes what follows.
If you are longing for a gentler way to start
your days
your year
or the next chapter of your life
You are warmly invited to join us for Sacred Start.

Yes.
In fact, Sacred Start was created with you in mind. You are welcome exactly as you are, even if you feel foggy, tender, or unsure.
Hey You Lovely Human,
I’m Eileen.
For many years, I lived in a constant state of rushing.
As a midwife I was deeply attuned to others. I could hold space, guide transitions, and support people through some of the most profound beginnings of their lives. And yet, in my own life, I was disconnected from my body, overriding my rhythms, and starting each day already depleted.
Burnout didn’t arrive all at once. It came quietly and in waves, through chronic overgiving, productivity perfectionism, and the belief that rest was something to be earned later. My nervous system was always braced for what was coming next.
What I came to understand was that the way I was beginning my days, seasons, and chapters mattered far more than I had ever been taught.
Everything began to shift when I slowed down and started working with the body instead of against it. Through ritual, nervous system repair, ancestral remembering, and cyclical living, I learned how to begin differently. Softer. Slower. With intention and reverence instead of force.
Those small, sacred beginnings changed everything. My energy, my work, my relationships, and my sense of time all began to reorganize themselves around what was actually sustainable.
Today, I support women who are tired of rushing, optimizing, and pushing themselves through life. Women who are craving a gentler relationship with time, a return to ritual, and a way of living that feels more enchanted and more humane.
